{"id":10959,"date":"2020-10-10T11:09:54","date_gmt":"2020-10-10T11:09:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ndarason.com\/?p=10959"},"modified":"2020-10-10T11:09:54","modified_gmt":"2020-10-10T11:09:54","slug":"boko-haram-nigeria-reintegration-rni","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ndarason.com\/en\/boko-haram-nigeria-reintegration-rni\/","title":{"rendered":"Reintegration Efforts in Dikwa &#8211; Residents Respond"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mixed feelings\u00a0 in Dikwa, northeast Nigeria as the government is about to reintegrate into the communities former Boko Haram members who surrendered their arms .<\/p>\n<p>But residents who spoke to Radio Ndarason International in Dikwa said that the idea would be difficult to accept.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is impossible, nobody would accept them. It is totally a waste of time and resources. Let them continue in the forest,\u201d resident Umar Sadiq said.<\/p>\n<p>Another, Umara Gumsumi, agreed. \u201cHonestly, this is wrong, we can\u2019t accept them. We would not trust them anymore. If the government is serious, let it detain or execute them.
