{"id":11224,"date":"2020-11-02T18:05:13","date_gmt":"2020-11-02T18:05:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ndarason.com\/?p=11224"},"modified":"2022-11-15T10:52:26","modified_gmt":"2022-11-15T09:52:26","slug":"nigeria-boko-haram-chibok-rni","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ndarason.com\/en\/nigeria-boko-haram-chibok-rni\/","title":{"rendered":"Thirteen Dead in Suspected Boko Haram Attack in Chibok"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At least thirteen people were killed, and six abducted when a suspected Boko Haram insurgent attacked a remote village in Chibok local government area of Borno state on Sunday 1<sup>st<\/sup> November, 2020.<\/p>\n<p>RNI reporter interviewed eye witness, Ishaku Isa, via phone today.\u00a0 Ishaku reported that, the insurgents stormed Takulashe village in Chibok LG at about 9.00am, a time when most people were out on their farmlands and only a few were left in the village.<\/p>\n<p>Isa added that, the armed men carted away food and a\u00a0 lot of livestock while a dozen of people were wounded, as well as the killings and abductions.<\/p>\n<p>For his part, another resident, Abdullahi Abdu Bello, said that the attack lasted\u00a0 two hours and the insurgents waited to attack the people who went to their farms, firing them on their return &#8211; this is what led to the deaths and injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Some were told not to return from their farms, and they ran for their lives when the insurgents followed them firing.
