Digital technology, especially the internet, has changed the lives of millions across the globe. But, in some countries, women and girls\u2019s access to technology is limited. And, sometimes, they are even prevented from accessing technology.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Studies by the Centre for Information Technology and Development in Kano have shown that, in northern Nigeria, about\u00a0 60% of women do not have access to the internet.<br \/>\nAbout 55% of men in the area do not allow their wives to use the internet.
