A group of ISWAP insurgents in multiple boats carried out an attack against members of the rival Boko Haram group located in Lake Chad, HumAngle can report.\u00a0Skirmishes between the two groups escalated following the ISWAP raid on Boko Haram\u2019s previous stronghold in Sambisa forest and the subsequent death of its leader Abubakar Shekau. Women in Dalori II IDPs camp in Borno State, Northeast Nigeria say they are treated by officials based on whether they are widows or they are with their husbands before they can access relief materials. The e-voucher is part of the\u00a0WFP\u2019s assistance<\/a>\u00a0that allows beneficiaries to buy food in the markets. Du 4 au 5 octobre 2021 s\u2019est tenue \u00e0 Yaound\u00e9 la troisi\u00e8me r\u00e9union du Forum des gouverneurs du Bassin du Lac Tchad pour la Coop\u00e9ration R\u00e9gionale sur la Stabilisation, la Consolidation de la Paix et le D\u00e9veloppement Durable. Cette r\u00e9union a regroup\u00e9 les 8 gouverneurs de la r\u00e9gion du Bassin du lac Tchad, des experts sur les questions li\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019extr\u00e9misme violent, des organisations de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile et des ONGs nationales et internationales.\u00a0 Avec nos invit\u00e9s, nous avons parl\u00e9 entre autre,\u00a0 des aides qui arrivent pour soutenir la stabilisation de la sous-r\u00e9gion et les d\u00e9plac\u00e9s de la crise.<\/p>\n

Today on the Kura Bari programme we are discussing the Third Lake Chad Basin Governors\u2019 Forum, which took place in Yaound\u00e9, Cameroon, on Monday the 4th and Tuesday the 5th of October. Eight governors from Chad, Nigeria, Cameroon and Niger, with other key stakeholders \u2013 including the United Nations Development Programme, the Lake Chad Basin Commission and members of civil society organisations \u2013 met to discuss regional cooperation, stabilisation, peacebuilding and security development.<\/p>\n

Le Premier ministre, Chef du gouvernement, M. Ouhoumoudou Mahamadou a pr\u00e9sid\u00e9, hier dans l\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi, \u00e0 Niamey, la deuxi\u00e8me r\u00e9union restreinte du comit\u00e9 de haut niveau de suivi de la feuille de route de N\u2019Djamena. Cet exercice tr\u00e8s important sur l\u2019\u00e9tat des lieux de la mise en \u0153uvre des axes de la stabilisation et du d\u00e9veloppement du Sahel au Niger, a r\u00e9uni autour du premier ministre le haut repr\u00e9sentant de la coalition pour le Sahel, la repr\u00e9sentante sp\u00e9ciale de l\u2019Union Europ\u00e9enne pour le Sahel, des membres du gouvernement nig\u00e9rien et des diplomates europ\u00e9ens accr\u00e9dit\u00e9s au Niger.<\/p>\n

La Banque africaine de d\u00e9veloppement, un des principaux bailleurs du projet, acc\u00e9l\u00e8re un peu plus le rythme, chaque ann\u00e9e, pour l\u2019ach\u00e8vement des derniers kilom\u00e8tres de bitume.<\/p>\n
