The bombardments by the Operation Hadin Kai troops were executed at an Island in Tumbun near Lake Chad.<\/p>\n

According to the Air Force, the aircraft were despatched for operations upon receiving intelligence about the movement of\u00a0 20 boats converging for a meeting on an island in the Tumbuns on Lake Chad and at Malam Fatori. Pilots of the aircraft were reported to have observed a gathering of about 20 boats consisting of five to seven suspected terrorists in each boat, following which bombs and rockets were employed against the targets.<\/p>\n

Recent data obtained by HumAngle revealed that at least 2,246 classrooms have been destroyed in the last 12 years in Borno State alone.\u00a0According to the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), a total of 500 public schools were attacked by Boko Haram insurgents between 2009 and 2021 in Borno.<\/p>\n
