Why do they keep killing us?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Brief \u2013 Three people were killed and several houses burnt down in the early hours of Monday, October 3, by suspected Jam\u0101\u2019at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da\u2019way Wa\u2019l-Jih\u0101d (JAS) in an attack on Njilang village in the Chibok Local Government Area.<\/p>\n<p>Rachel Daniel, a resident of the village, told RNI that she and others were woken at about 2am by the sound of gunfire. <em>\u201cThe villagers started running for their lives. That was when the three people were killed; a shoemaker and two other innocent people.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>She said some people who saw the insurgents claimed they were <em>\u201cmostly white and ebony in complexion and they were wearing military uniforms\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t know what we did to Boko Haram [the JAS] insurgents; they have abducted our children [Chibok girls\u2019 abduction in 2014]; they killed our husbands and made us widows; they stopped us from farming and business activities. Is that not enough?
