{"id":51050,"date":"2022-12-20T12:02:22","date_gmt":"2022-12-20T11:02:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ndarason.com\/en\/?p=51050"},"modified":"2022-12-20T12:02:22","modified_gmt":"2022-12-20T11:02:22","slug":"kidnappers-demand-%e2%82%a64-million-for-the-return-of-two-farmers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ndarason.com\/en\/kidnappers-demand-%e2%82%a64-million-for-the-return-of-two-farmers\/","title":{"rendered":"Kidnappers demand \u20a64 million for the return of two farmers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Brief \u2013 Kidnappers who abducted two farmers in Shetimari Dawari village in the Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State have demanded \u20a64 million, \u20a62 million each, for their return.<\/p>\n<p>The kidnappers entered the village at about 12.30am on Saturday, December 17, and nabbed the two farmers, who were neighbours.<\/p>\n<p>Modu Umara, the brother of one of the victims, told RNI reporter Alkali Mustapha that the kidnappers had phoned the family.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey allowed us to talk to my brother. He said they were fine but they needed prayers. Then the kidnappers demanded a \u20a62 million ransom for each of the men.<\/p>\n<p>Umara said there was no security in the village.<\/p>\n<p>This was the second kidnapping in the Damboa Local Government Area this year.
