The residents of Gonidamgari ward in Maiduguri, Borno State northeast Nigeria expressed delight over the new health facility provided by the state government in the community to address maternal mortality rate.

The health facilities in Maiduguri were overstretched due to the influx of Internally Displaced Persons caused by armed groups.

The residents of the community Falta Yuram and Ba’ana Kontorama express appreciation added that women in the community had suffered a lot before the establishment of the recent facility urged health workers to show commitment in delivering effective healthcare services
