Our topic today is 22 Years of Civilian Rule: The Journey So Far.
Saturday last week marked 22 years since Nigeria returned to a democratic system after years of military rule.
Despite its challenges, most Nigerians believe that democracy has proved to be the best system of government.
But, as the country celebrated Democracy Day, some Nigerians were not so happy. They cite the record-high inflation, increased violent attacks by extremists and the large number of abductions of school children as major obstacles that still need to be addressed.
